FAQWhat Is a Bang?
Bangs are a collaborative event in which authors, artists, and betas work together to produce a brand new work for the fandom. Typically, there is a minimum word count writers must hit, though this length varies between events. For YGO BB 2024, this minimum length is 10k, with a maximum of 50k. Artists pick what story they want to work on based on summary that the authors send out during check in.What happened to the traditional Big Bang?
The traditional Big Bang is still happening! From the interest check we ran, we found an overwhelming amount of the participants wanted to start the traditional big bang later, rather than earlier. With this information in mind, the moderators decided to launch a Mini Bang for now in order to make the main event the best it can be!What kind of content is allowed?
There is no content restriction! We do ask that minors do not submit/claim anything marked as NSFW. We will not ask for your age, but we do expect for people to self monitor themselves in this event. If there is any content you are uncomfortable with creating for, simply step away. Hatred and name calling will not be tolerated.

YGO Mini Bang 2024 Reviews⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ this was the first ever fandom event i was confident enough in my abilities to participate as an artist and i'm glad i did - the mods were incredibly patient and helpful when i had questions and i had fun discussing fandom related stuff with the other artists and writers! i'm really happy that this was my first bang/minibang experience. -dove (oudkee)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I think it went really well!!! There were a couple of hiccups that the mods quickly addressed and resolved, so I expect the big bang to be quite smooth <3⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice mods who were very kind, attentive and highly accommodating. Thank you for the prompt email responses! I believe in you!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The test of any system is how brilliant it is, but how well it resolved errors. From everything I could see, the Mod Team responded quickly and reasonably to the issues that were presented publicly and my own issues gold star, 10/10. My only concern about the forthcoming big bang is will it run into my traditional holiday writing crush. SJ⭐⭐⭐There were multiple instances of mods dropping participants immediately after deadlines due to mistakes on the mods' parts. It was frustrating that mods were so quick to drop participants when it was due to the mods’ oversight. While mistakes happen, if you are going to be strict toward your participants, you need to hold yourselves accountable as mods too.[MOD REPONSE: Hi, thank you for participating! The mod team agree that we were far too strict regarding deadlines, so with future events, we will try to be more understanding and consider every case more carefully before moving on. We apologize for any negative experience this might have brought; this was our first time running such an event as a team and we're not perfect, so we'll strive to be better, thank you!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very good event and I'm glad to have been there as a beta, it was so cool and everyone was so hype. A lot of communication made by the staff which made easier to known when deadlines were. The server is easily understandable. Not so much to add to improve the event but thanks for holding it
